Chi Delta Chapter
"I took my bid at the end of the fall semester of my junior year. Many people ask why I did, since I have such little time left to spend with the chapter. To that I say, even if I only had a month left, I would take an open bid. I found that the women in Chi Omega were people I naturally gravitated toward and I’m so happy I was able to make them my sisters through the open bid process. COBs gave me a home and a group of women that will be in my life forever"

What Is It?
Continuous Open Bidding (COB) is an informal process that sororities use to recruit new members outside of the formal recruitment period. It is a relaxed recruitment environment and lots of fun! Many of our current members and alumni joined Chi Delta through our COB process. Our chapter will contact the potential new member and hold informal events (dinners, coffee, and study dates) to get to know them better, and see if they are the right fit for our chapter.
